I am in self-contained. Our students are never sent home even tho they are obviously ill. Only projectile vomiting sends a student home. I’ve noticed that HR, when explaining why a candidate didn’t get the job, tend to lean on “You’re great, but we had candidates with more experience in [skill relevant to the job].” I do believe this is true in some cases, but it can’t possibly be for all of them.

Ok, after an HR screening (and salary requirements) I had 3 interviews. Then HR calls for references and to be “reminded” of salary requirements. All 3 references now contacted. Will I get an offer?

Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Gave them 4-5 days, started planning for how I’d get those days off work during insane times at current job, and now not a single word from them to confirm a date. Been over a week now. Sad. Pretty jaded. What can I do? Already followed up
