Thanks so much all for the reply. I chose Glyptoteket in the end, I love both sculptures and paintings equally but apparently on Tuesdays it’s free. Not that 125Kr matters that much, but freebies is always welcome :-) No regrets at all, great collections overall and the winter garden is just marvellous. I’ll go to the National Gallery next time when I have more time
Great to know, OP! I wish I could visit Glyptoteket in the future. Where did you stay?
If you prefer fine art, National Gallery - for sculpture and fine art, Glyptoketet.
Definitely the National museum. There are so many incredible artifacts there & it's just magical. I hope you'll tell us which you chose!!
I would also suggest the National museum. It is truly beautiful and I really loved it.
Both are spectacular. If you don't have enough time, and you want to see some royal collections and learn on Denmark's history, you go for the National Gallery.
Hi! Either option is great. However, due to time constraints, I suggest you go to the National Gallery of Denmark.
For me the Glypthtothek was an amazing place, but choose it only if you like sculpture, if not go to the national gallery
