Has anyone had success transferring Chase Ultimate Reward points to a friend? I see that only “household” transfers are allowed but don’t know if there’s leeway with the term. Worried chase might flag the accounts or stop the transfer if the billing addresses don’t match. The transfer is only for 40K

I've never had a Chase card, but I know that Capital One is pretty good about transferring points. I feel like Chase was the first bank that started providing travel perks, and set the bar for everyone else so I bet they're pretty good about customer service. However, I did have some shady things happen with my Capital One points in the beginning of the pandemic, so it might be worth calling Chase and talking to them about it first :) Good luck!

Thanks!

No, and the household rule is strict.

like

Ah got it, okay thanks!

I don't believe you can do that. They are pretty strict on the household policy

like

Bummer! Thanks anyway!

I don't think this is possible. Only between family.

like

Unfortunate, thanks for letting me know!

I'm curious as well. Were you able to transfer points, OP? I'm not having second thoughts after reading the comments above.

Living in NJ and may be able to choose NYC as my home office. People who live in NJ can choose NJ / NYC office, which one did you choose?

NJ office: no NYC tax, don't have to file 2 state return. Live in NJ so auto assigned to NJ office currently.

NYC office: NYC tax on paycheck, easier commute, possibly higher pay?

Random, but valid/persistent thought.

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

I‘m moving to Australia with my partner and we don’t have a bank account and credit cards yet. We basically need the bank account only for everyday finance stuff (local payments, debit card, etc) and we‘re looking for some credit cards with good international fees and ideally a reward program to collect some points for traveling.

Is life insurance a priority to anyone at the moment, and if so why is life insurance important to you?

It can be impossible to deal with financial losses due to declining health or unforeseen circumstances by not having life insurance. In these cases, the solution to your debts (that can affect the financial stability of you or your loved ones) may fall within the category of life insurance.
