I own a small agency. Back when the industry had a come to Jesus moment when they realized advertising was a Caucasian occasion, they hosted a conference on NYC called “Mosaic.”
All the big agencies were there- and I was hoping to make contacts to be part of a mentor/protégée relationship for federal contracts. There were hundreds of minorities, women, and exactly 3 veterans.
Nobody knew what to do with us, or why we were even there.
This was around 2005, it hasn’t gotten any better.

I have been working on AWS cloud services from ~2 years. Recently joined new org. where the work is on Azure Cloud and more into Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, CosmosDb etc.
I'm not exactly sure at this point If this is a good move to switch technologies.

Can you fishes pls guide or help me if this Azure Cloud related services stated above are good in terms of current tech stack in market demand or did i made a wrong move? Pls help.. 🙏

I completed my interview loop at Google on August 12, 2022. My recruiter informed me on August 29th that due to a couple of realignments within the org, the hiring manager has not shared any feedback. I was informed on September 8th that the hiring committee is scheduled the next day (September 9th) and that I can expect a final feedback latest by September 12th. I wasn’t informed of the results and reached out, but the recruiter isn’t replying to my emails. Does this mean I was rejected?

Vacation almost all on points. Plane and hotel covered. Suggestions for car rental? Not many Enterprise/Hertz points. Ik it's not the best transfer rate, but I have plenty of Chase points.

Is it possible to make a jump from a national midsize firm to big4 at the manager level and still have the potential to move up the ranks to partner?

When drafting a brief or other submissions for court or arbitration, do you use words such as clearly, erroneously, etc. to emphasize certain points? Our managing partner says that we should, but all of the writing guides for litigators that I've read repeats the mantra "show, don't tell" and explain that most judges dread such words.

I know that the politically correct thing to do here is to do whatever the managing partner wants me to do, but I just wanted to ask for other ppl's opinion.
