hi, I recently joined a strategy group and have only worked at IBM. I am curious how the strategy planning process works in other technology companies to compare to my own experience. wondering what is similar vs diff for this line of profession across the industry. can anyone share their company’s general process, timing, duration, who’s involved? thanks!

I saw this and thought I'd share. What do you say? “Diversity hiring does not mean a lower bar for diverse candidates. They still need to interview and pass the hiring bar. Therefore, diversity hiring is not unfair to other non-diverse applicants."

Hey y'all, kind of a two part question:
1. I enjoy the people management more than individual contributor stuff. What career paths do you see in our industry for people who are managing support engineering teams?
2. What certifications are valued today? Seems like being a AWS Cloud Practitioner is a good general one, but are there others that stand out?

I have 5 years of experience and only $125k TC. Am I getting paid too little?

Is it easy for engineers to become TPMs?

Looking to transition from an experineced(more than 7 years) automation and manual tester to a python full stack developer , looking for guidance about the path .... job market(including freelancing option) ,job position to target , potential struggles , courses or any other potential resources !
P.S. trying this change to as having a inclination towards development, and also see myself going for technical manager role in future !

Has anyone faced this that Capgemini HR expect you to respond fast till they collect documents. After that they stop responding. This is frustrating and funny as in why to waste everyone’s time

Just got selected to join the Navy as an officer but not leaving until early November. Anyone from HR have any recommendations on timing for when to tell my HR so they don’t let me go early? Would like to work until the week before I leave.
