I plan on trying for VBAC, and my doctor said we can attempt this, but because I didn't dilate enough for birth #1, I may need another c-section.

My first c-section was traumatic. My blood pressure went through the roof due to bad reaction to meds, and I needed general anesthesia because I could feel them cutting into me during surgery.

So my question: is it crazy for me to ask my doctor (in advance) to provide general anesthesia again if I need a c-section?
