I remember I knew some corporate people at my last retail job and the store manager was "jealous" that they would go out of their way to say hello to me during a store walk. Made me laugh, I'd think the store manager would be impressed that I am well recognized? Probably thirsty?

I’ve seen that dynamic before and it always feels strange. You’d think leadership would be happy that someone on the team made a positive impression. Sometimes it says more about the manager’s insecurity than anything else. Being recognized by higher ups usually means you’re doing something right.

They may feel threatened, but there’s no need, there’s a reason they’re the store manager. They should feel good that their team is being recognized

Some people are incredibly easily intimidated. Paranoid, too. They may have thought you knew corporate because you had gone behind the manager's back to discuss them or something.

Yeah, that’s odd.

Saw someone asking about high-rise apartments in Mott Haven earlier. Just moved into a new apartment building here and honestly it’s not as bad as I thought. New buildings are safe and pretty spacious (relatively speaking). Downside is not really much to do around this area and food delivery is not great. Hope this is helpful for any one who is looking at this area.

Hi all,

I joined
KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.

I am unable to figure out what can be done now.

Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)

Any inputs will be helpful.

Thanks!
