Avocado and nuts.
What does your daily diet look like? That's a really low daily caloric intake. If you're trying to cut out carbs, it sounds like you'd benefit from adding more fat to your diet, since it's more calorie-dense than protein. Nuts, avocado, and olive oil would all seem to fit the bill. Whatever you do, I'd try to get up to 1600 as quickly as you can. You don't want your body getting accustomed to living off 1100 calories a day.
It’s chicken or fish, vegetables, quinoa for lunch and dinner. And in the morning I do 3 eggs, 1/2 avocado, bone broth… and then a smoothie with collagen, almond milk, almond butter, chia flax during the day
For now, paused working out. I can tell my body needs more calories.
So wondering if I should stop the cleanse, incorporate back carbs and just increase protein and see if that helps with my hair.
Peanut butter would be a good way to get calories up! You can also include meat with a slight higher fat content - steak, chicken thighs. Also yogurt that isn’t fat free.
Side note about hair loss: I lost all my hair from having chemo and prenatal vitamins with B12 in it made it grow back crazy fast! About 2 years ago I had stress related hair loss and started it again to help!
Yea you definitely want to get your protein intake up as well as calories. How much protein are you getting in a day? I would up your protein intake and that will in turn up your calories.
