I think I’m starting to come to terms I’m just not great at my job. I do implementations/project management and I just hate “herding the cats” and following up and as a result have terrible follow thru. Especially when I have a lot of work on my plate, I drop the ball on at least one thing.

At what point do you draw the line on WLB? Working insane hours on a long/term project with what feels like no end in sight. It’s not sustainable but clearly expected. Could you get fired for drawing lines in the sand and saying (example) “come 8:30 every night I’m logging off”. That’s a 65 hour work week as-is but I currently am up until midnight working consistently. For context I’ve been rated as a strong performer consistently and am not new to the job so it’s not a lack of understanding.
