I just found out how we can solve all the "supply chain problems." Maybe people could... like... order things a week BEFORE they needed them? SMH

This is laughable. I don’t know what industry you are in but we forecast out to our suppliers as much as 18 months because the lead time on raw steel is that far out. We still have on time delivery issues with our suppliers. Our customers on the other hand….. they order whenever and whatever without any notice so I hear you on that end.

Better enter those lead times into the system correct 🔍

That could work, but it would require a lot of organization and communication from the customers. And I know that with our customers, it wouldn't be possible lol

funny

It would be a lot of work, but I think it could be done. We have about 10 clients that if we actually decided to implement something like this, like a time frame for regular deliveries, it could work.
