Finally picked these up after a year in storage

How many of you can relate this? 😄😅

I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt

Instill rigor immediately with an iron fist and steely demeanor. Require video calls for every meeting and anyone without isnt on is dinged. Don’t call people’s names in ceremonies just say “anyone else” and revel in the awkward overtalks and silences. Throw your team under the bus any time anything goes wrong. Treat your po meetings like relationship building....but just for you. Make sure to check in on every task hourly, if you’re not checking in they aren’t working. Take no accountability unless it’s for success - after all, you’re just the facilitator.....unless your facilitation made everything work.
Don't forget to volunteer the team for additional work without logging it in the sprint (exceed expectations at all costs)
Be prepared for long awkward silences during ceremonies like grooming calls, just get comfortable with it. The client will eventually feel compelled to contribute, it's just painfully awkward at first.
Also, since you're remote, if suggest setting up a weekly (I do bi-weekly) calls with the PO or whoever your client counterpart is. Use that time to build a relationship and establish a safe, comfortable venue for them to voice concerns and get to know you as best as you can.
Wishing you the best, OP. You got this
Shouldn’t you worry about the ceremonies getting setup and stuff first? Lol
Yes, but right now that’s the relatively easy part to set up meetings on a schedule. I think the harder part for me is going to make this team feel like one.
Oh, for engagement, I do 2 stand-ups. One for just the team, we joke around and give the gritty updates on things. It's super lax and has helped me get to know the team. The second standup is with the client. Also pretty lax, but more professional.
I do a 15 minute introduction call with all team members as an intro. Get to know them, what they like and don't like from a SM, their experience with Agile, and their communication style

The mistake I see with first time scrum masters is that they try and be the manager. The role of a scrum master is to facilitate collaboration and remove impediments. Try to prevent the ceremonies being the team reporting to you and more of a dialogue. One thing I start with is on the standup have the last person to arrive to give there update first and then nominate who to go next.
The last item I want to stress for remote teams is the importance of a team room, keep it light, and try and facilitate conversation in there
