I disagree with you Mr Junior. Not all are timesheet filler. 50% of C3Bs and C4s are hands on technical, they are responsible for taking a project from on-boarding to a stable state with less noise. Only when it gets to a stable state they take a sit back and contribute to other activities. By the way regarding the salary, in TCS nobody is getting higher than thier deserved pkg for YoE, skills both technical and business. With the salary given they are just able to run their family of 3 or 4 , save some money for future. Thank you.
I wanted to modify a bit. Its not a deserved but a pkg which is less than product company for similar roles , so if its not revised in 3 or 4 years , you are losing on your savings as you have more expenses coming in future. Not all will get the hikes but as as I said 50% of them should get.

TCS is not unique,all indian IT outsourcing companies there are the types of people you mentioned i.e timepass people they do little work and come to enjoy life,if these timepass people are removed then it will be almost 60% removal of employees.

Pkg is anyway less than a product company similat roles. Thats why a revision is required after 3 or 4 years.
