Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft

Keep your head up - you didnt become a director by chance. Go to the w3 school and practice some of the languages that you use. Volunteer some time at a non-profit as well so you don’t lose that edge. A lot of them need help and cannot afford the talent you posses. Create a profile on Upwork or another freelance site and submit proposals for freelance/contract jobs on there. Then as others said, you can note you were consulting on projects during the time.
Ask a close friend or mentor to help you run through a mock interview. use this to practice basic interview questions, thinking on your feet, and presenting some prior work.

(Not the greatest article, but it exists: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/062015/why-it-easier-find-job-while-employed.asp) You might consider switching your current gap to "freelancing" or "consulting." No one needs to know that you don't currently have an clients, and if you do find some in the meantime, screw it. Be a freelancer, or be a employed person with a couple of side clients that pay for your groceries. Both are good options.
What industry are you in ?
