I think the worst part of the last few months of the year is how understaffed the store gets while traffic just keeps surging. And the few of us workers who didn't get to be smart about accruing holidays are doing the job of like 10 people. The constant lines and no real breaks are killing me slowly. How's it going for you guys?

I'm honestly surprised that they didn't hire more seasonal workers this year. It feels like they expected us regular employees to take on all of the work of the entire holiday season with no support. I sometimes wish I could be in the room when they make these decisions. Just to see the rationale behind why they think this is okay.

That honestly doesn't sound so bad to me. I'm always worried because it seems like traffic in our store keeps declining. I don't think we're in any danger of closing, but it's something that always worries me. It can be awful to be super busy, but it's better than the alternative.

SO and I got in to a disagreement on the background of Indian tech CEOs. It appears that they are all from 1 or 2 major communities in India.

While he thinks that its genetics/being naturally gifted that got them to where they are I believe it's the environment & discipline that made them successful. We are not from said communities but curious to hear your thoughts on who is more accurate.
