When being stealthed, If the firm gives someone X amount of time to find another job and will continue to pay them until that time runs out, but asks the lawyer to alert them when they find a replacement position (presumably ending the pay?) is it wrong to not tell that firm right away? I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

I gave in my 2 weeks on Friday last week and I thought that it would make me feel better and calmer but now I’m experiencing more anxiety than ever even though I know I made the right decision by leaving. Does anyone have any advice on how to stay calm so I can finish up these last 2 weeks strong? I’ve got so much anxiety that I’m making myself almost puke, it’s so difficult to concentrate on work.

Does anyone else feel like they are becoming less confident as they get more senior? When I was right out of my clerkship I felt really confident because I have good research and writing skills; but I feel like I don’t have spectacular judgment when it comes to making all sorts of less studied decisions and it makes me feel incredibly nervous and not confident. I figured I’d get more confidence as the years went by, but I feel like I trust myself and my abilities less.
