I’m in my 4th year at a small plaintiffs’ firm. Past two years I’ve received meager raises (5k) and terrible bonuses (3k). My boss prides himself on allowing me to gain experience so I have more courtroom experience than most attorneys with twice the experience. As I’ve applied for other firms, I’ve been denied interviews based on how my boss is perceived in the community. I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking.
