They love to do that. I see so many people not giving 2 weeks anymore, it’s more like “today is my last day” for this reason.
That’s very unfortunate and unprofessional on your GM’s end. Despite that, you’re putting in a 2 week notice which is a positive reflection of your personality and professionalism. Best of luck with your future endeavors, and thank you for being the better person!

Yeah they shunned you because you turned in your notice .
They're probably getting someone else ready to take your spot. Or they don't trust that you won't purposely mess things up. I know I've had employees do such things. Not saying you would but they're just protecting themselves.
I genuinely hope that they do. At this point, it’s more than a two week notice. My last day will be my last day.
It’s all a ploy to make you feel bad don’t let their misery guilt trip you they’d rather not know you’re going to be doing better not working there.
