I walked into the office today to find my desk mate’s computer gone and her chair pushed in. We’ve worked side-by-side for three years, and management is literally pretending she never existed while divvying up her massive workload among the rest of us. It’s chilling how quickly they can erase a human being here the moment they stop being productive or decide to leave. Is it normal to feel this level of mourning for a coworker?
