I went to a movie this afternoon for the first time in ages. Of course it was more money than I should’ve been spending, but those two hours of doing nothing but watching Buzz and Woody run around were such a relief from the stress that I have been dealing with. of course it all did come crashing back when I got back to the car. What do you do to get your mind off the stress of looking for a job? And does it help you get through the day?

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. Is that an ethical factor if both employees do the same job at the same pace, quality, etc?

My bgv is going in halt state for one reason or another.
Today i got mail to upload salary slips april to june.. I have already uploaded slips of april,may. Still i got this mail. Is it normal in bgv process of oracle.

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(
