Google Application Tips?
Team - I have been applying to numerous roles at google for the past several months, with no success despite referrals. There are roles where my resume literally describes each bullet in the role requirement, yet no luck. Am I missing something? Are there things that folks have tried that have worked for getting google interviews?

Hello everyone, good Morning.
Hi fishes. Have an offer from Protiviti india and one of the clauses was we can't deny to travel. It also came up 2-3 times during discussions but the HR said they had many offshore roles too after I said am not looking to travel in the near future. Just wanted to check if that's just a routine clause or if anyone had issues reg this Protiviti India

So pretty much everyone... sigh
Most likely there’s been a terrible accident. That or email and phones have been shut off at their home and office. Also their hard drive was probably wiped as well.
Laughing because I’m a recruiter and am currently Instagram stalking an SVP-level candidate who dropped off the face of the earth in the middle of the interview process. The ghosting goes both ways!
This is why you should always follow up the meeting with a thank you note with some meat to it. Open that line of communication, so you can naturally reopen it as things change.
Great advice!
How long has it been?
The holidays definitely make things drag out, but to go that long without a response from the recruiter is unacceptable. I had a lot of managers on vacation, I still responded to candidates to let them know where things stood. In this case, I would ping the recruiter a few times this week and I would mention in one of your emails that you’ll follow up with the CDs if you don’t hear from them just in case they’re no longer with the company. Hopefully that’s a subtle hint that their behavior is not acceptable, and in fear of being called out to the CD, they’ll get back to you. If not, then yes, go ahead and reach out to the CD directly.
I never minded if a candidate emailed me after meeting, if it’d been a few weeks and they hadn’t heard anything from our internal recruiters. If it was an external recruiter I’d always respond, and say I’ll check on it internally, but they should also check in with the ghoster.
Email the CD tomorrow. What have you got to lose? If you want the job, GET IT.
