Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

Unions have outlived their usefulness
Agree
I’m on Amazon’s side, i used to work in the warehouse for about a year and then did staffing for them. They hire almost everyone and a union would just enable the worst of the worst to breeze by at work.
That’s how UPS is (Teamsters). The people who want to support unionizing typically have little experience with how companies with unionized labor forces function. Theoretically I am all for it but in practice it does enable bad actors and things that should not be acceptable.
Rising Star
Team Amazon. This feels like a money grab just because workers see an important day for a large company and think they can extort them
Bunch of bootlickers here apparently
Pro labor. Almost always.
I hope they are successful, Amazon is crazy profitable and Bezos has more money then he would be able to use in 20 lifetimes, Amazon can afford to pay their team members a living wage
I don’t understand why people automatically think Bezo = Amazon, he is not even involved in the day to day of the company anymore. I mean it affects all shareholders of Amazon stock also! this is totally ridiculous to me and I hope they fail.
