Come on Netflix! From you?! I see you hate foreigners then? /s
Why? So your company can dramatize everything this weekend at COTA?
Will Buxton - “Oh his tires going down he’ll have to box”
Netflix Will Buxton - “A puncture during a Grand Prix is a absolute death sentence for any driver. It can lead to major accidents [cut to Kubica 2007 Canada GP] spins [cut to Ferrari at Singapore] even worse [cut to RG Bahrain]. But at COTA this year Max brought it home [cut to max falling from P2 to last to finish P3]”
@Netflix I’ve been a F1 fan most of my life, and involved in Motorsport all my life. I remember the moment I feel in love the sport (Haikennen’ pass on Schumacher at Spa). DTS just takes something intangible away from not only F1, but Motorsport in general. It’s great that it is bringing a new audience, but it’s just missing something. You can’t put raw emotions into a docu-series
I don't hope it never happens - I PRAY it never happens. It's a World Drivers Championship, and a huge part of the appeal is that each country only gets a single Grand Prix. I'm not a fan of the US having 3. It's a bad precedent. Also, we absolutely cannot risk losing tracks like Spa and Silverstone amd Suzuka. Same for losing a race in France and Germany, and God forbid, Monaco. I've been a fanatic for 40 years and have attended over 35 Grand Prix in multiple countries. It would be disastrous to lose what made the sport so great and its history.

I hope that never happens
Strong disagree. That would be a great way to ruin it.
Have you traveled OP? The magic is in the diversity. Americans continue to be ethnocentric and want to Americanize everything. I look forward to when the world is de-Americanized. Traveling made me realize what our culture represents which is gaudy, cheap, unhealthy, superficial, oversized and wasteful.
As soon as you stop this nascar and indycar nonsense maybe it could happen ;)
If you are stateside, and if you like the open wheel formula. IndyCar is awesome. F1 paddock passses run what… $4000? IndyCar you can get a GA Ticket (at some circuits) and casually walk through the paddock. Road America is my recommendation
Even “Circuit of the Americas” is ethnocentric. If it was truly representative we would see cultural influences of Latin America, South America and Canada. Not just the United States which is just one country of many in the Americas.
@Ramboll I assume by “woke” you mean anything that does not validate your personal biases and worldview. Here’s some info for you. This is a map of the Americas, here are the largest cities in The Americas:
1. São Paulo
2. Lima
3. Mexico City
4. New York City
5. Bogotá
6. Rio de Janeiro
7. Santiago
8. Los Angeles
9. Caracas
10. Buenos Aires
Hope that helps
