If a creative director gave you a shoutout but didn’t shout you out correctly would you let them know on the side that you did contribute to certain projects or would you just let it go..

Probably just let it go. I'm sure there wasn't anything intentional or malicious about it. And even with them being wrong, I'd still be worried about seeming ungrateful since they're not obligated to give you a shout out in the first place.

Literally something like that happened a few months back. My supervisor, direct supervisor, mind you, recommended me for our spin on employee of the month. They recognized efforts that I was not a part of. I just smiled and nodded through it.

If it was just a one time thing I would let it go. If there was a pattern of them not giving me credit for the work I was doing, then I think it's reasonable to take them aside and make sure they are aware of the work you are contributing to projects.

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. Basically feeling like an 18 year old over here with no knowledge of how to run my own life. Having to start over after long term controlling relationship where I was left out of all the finance stuff. So I’m lost TBH. Engineering makes sense, managing my money not so much.
