I highly encourage you to ask for what you think is fair. You could absolutely justify it by saying, now that you know more about the role and you’ve had an opportunity to learn more about the expectations, your salary expectation is $160.
I guess if you don't try, you'll never know, but it doesn't reflect well. You should provide a rationale for why the change in ask e.g., after researching, bla bla bla- but honestly, you should've researched before saying a number.

Ultimately it’s also bad for them if you join and then feel bitter the whole time because you feel your peers are paid so much more. Even if it would be your fault lol.
I don’t think it’s a big deal at all. Assuming you’ve done your research and have evidence to back up that that’s the current salary range of your future colleagues.
