I don’t necessarily agree with the suggestion of “boycotting” these people or passing a negative judgement on them.
However, I 100% agree with the hypothesis that ease of open relationships in the gay world makes it harder for single people, because there is less of an incentive of finding a relationship that truly works as you can patch it by pursuing romantic and sexual adventures elsewhere.
I don’t know what the “solution” is to this but I do think single people looking to date should try to be more intentional and people in open relationship should ask themselves whether it’s a healthy relationship or a failed one kept on life support through openness
I agree and don’t partake if folks are open 🤝 I want 1:1 with the chance of having a relationship not be a guest star in someone’s episode

They haven’t even spared Tinder and Hinge. Those used to be exclusive to single folks looking to date, not anymore.
Tinder went first, then hinge. Same with people just visiting a city. Between people in a relationship, visitors, people looking for a hookup only hinge is now crowded
It sounds like you've just struck out with someone or otherwise been rejected. I get it, it hurts, and I've been there. But this doesn't sound sensible.
Are you basically complaining because the guy you want doesn't want you because not only is he partnered but his partnership is only possible because of all the single guys meeting his sexual needs for him, likely outcompeting you in the process?
Do what is BEST for YOU is my advice. Would it be a loss if you stopped participating in these activities with open and married men?
I personally do not comment on such issues. If there are no victims, then there shouldn't be any illegality and ostracism. The things I hate most are managers who take advantage of their staff
Many of you are conflating relationships with sex. If you are having trouble dating look within instead of blaming others and their relationship statuses. Ever think that you just may need just to become more datable? Maybe some therapist could help you work through this so you are better prepared to be in a relationship. Confidence is all it takes. Blaming others for your relationship status is sad and that kind of behavior doesn’t look good if you’re trying to land a man.
