I’m a copywriter and working in-house now at an AI company (I live in the Bay Area). And it’s very evident they don’t value writing at all. (I’m not bitching about this. I’m a realist.) I want to pivot and be more employable. I’m thinking about signing up for the all-access learner pass at the School of Motion and becoming a motion designer. Does this seem like an insane idea? Am I getting in way over my head?

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them.
