I'm a React.js frontend dev with 4 YOE, current CTC 10.5L (10 fixed). Expecting 17-18L, but Deloitte offered 12.5L fixed (20-25% hike), later stretched to 13L fixed + 10% var. Location can be Bangalore/Kolkata with some travel to Delhi. They said if I join in 30-45 days I'll get 13L, else with my 90-day notice it falls back to 12.5L. Unsure if 13L is good for my experience or if I should push harder. I'm confuse on location also which to choose. How to negotiate better, esp around notice period?

There is lots of companies really taking a hit in the tech space. Is this something that people are nervous about? Many seem to still be having a hiring push but with the button falling (IMO this is still just start we have a long way to go to bottom out) will that halt and layoffs ensue? And if so, which depts do you think will get hit the hardest?

I have been working with Walmart for the past 14 months and have recently got an offer from Blackrock for 45 LPA.
Considering the recession and US market scenario, help me understand if it will be a good move to join BlackRock OR should I continue with Walmart with the current compensation.
