yes. you gain perspective with a child. you realize what's truly important. it doesn't necessarily get worse with more kids but it's messier. you have more people at home to take care of and it's harder to balance that with work. mom me cannot give into the work the same way single me was able to. and that's ok.
parents help create balance in corporate America because we are better at communicating boundaries. single me gave into work more than I probably should've.
Pretty sure most moms feel this way. No matter if you work full-time, part-time, or are a SAHM, the world has told us that we should be able to be everything to everyone, and we, in fact, cannot. Your most important job is being a mom. Make that top priority.
Yes and also i feel dumber these days. Im 9 months pp. I just started taking creatine though this week and it’s definitely helping with the brain fog
Yes, I felt exactly this way. I cried many times at work leaving my 1.5-year-old at nursery. I think it just changes everything. It does get better and definitely at Three – with full speech – I feel okay about work.
