Do you need a writer experienced in this particular niche? I feel like it’s a copywriter’s job to write a story that sells a product - whatever the product is. None of us are experts in a category until we have to be. I Don’t think you’re going to find a writer with tons of experience in heavy machinery...so maybe settle on someone with B2B experience or even tech since that requires an ability to summarize complex proof points.
Do you have an email? I know a person who is perfect. A pro on these clients, years of experience. Need details to pass along tho
CW1 is correct. I’ve written for everything from tech startups to finance to Pharma to B2B and agriculture. Ultimately the writer doesn’t need to have experience to write good copy - but the more information you can provide on your industry, your products, and the specific needs and mindset of your target consumer - the better your copy will be.
You can also find editors that write for trades in the field and reach out. It’s how places like T Brand or The Foundry operate, every topic has someone who’s an expert and writes content & articles. Sometimes they’re ghost writers but you ought to be able to hunt some down if you chase their bylines!
We’ve done video work for these kinds of clients and would be happy to pass along the info of the copywriter we worked with.
