Nope but I would work part time
If I could afford not to have a job, I think I’d enjoy spending more time with my kids, but honestly, I’d still want some adult interaction and personal purpose outside of full-time mom life. Having a job gives me a break from the intense demands of parenting and helps me recharge, so I don’t lose myself completely in motherhood.
We could afford it but I’m not interested right now. I like my job and love my manager + team. Love having my own thing going on outside the home. I take full advantage of the flexibility so I can still be involved at my kids’ schools as much as I want. I like earning my own money, I can help my parents out without having everything be a joint decision. Money is just a tool to help you achieve your goals.
I would still work, albeit doing something fun and related to my local community. I think I am a better mom because I have time away from kids, but I also don't love the stress of this corporate grind.
