Use the gap as leverage. If your title says Marketing Manager but your work is entry level, you have a fancy title on your resume and time to interview without burning out. Not every job has to be fulfilling. Some of them just need to give you a paycheck while you figure out your next move.

You can say that for a lot of roles. Job titles vary so much as to what the scope actually is. Focus on your day-to-day and what you want that to look like. If the option is there to take on more and expand, that’s where I would start.

Hey all. Just had a question for any insurance underwriters who work in the states. I am moving down there at some point and I would like to know.. What is the insurance landscape like compared to canada? Anyone working in new York state? Is there a lot more red tape? What is the pace of work like? Hello fishes,
i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. should i wait or should i join on my current doj. and also if i will wait will they give me another doj on my current compenstion or they will revoke the offer past doj?
