I'm fed up with endless chat and email. A quick call or in-person chat gives me the context, urgency, and lets me ask follow-up questions that text just can't. It feels like some engineers avoid talking directly, which hurts our collaboration. I've got one engineer who won't get on the phone, even after I've politely asked. He just keeps using chat. Should I just deal with it through chat, or tell him it's not efficient?
