My two best friends are a tiny bit racist (more that they make racist jokes a lot) and this rubs off on me I hate to say it and I have to train myself to undo whatever has rubbed on me. But they have been more loyal and there for me than anyone else. They aren’t that conservative even, I’m more liberal, but it’s mainly just kind of like jokes or code names for certain races. Ex is “so many detroits over here” cause one said there are lots of black people in detroit. Anyone face similar dilemma?

Anyone feel as if it’s hard to stay with a company when you’re the only one of color? (&young) I’ve work for 3 companies in past 5 years and have yet to make meaningful colleague relationships.
