I’m in a small brokerage where the culture revolves around happy hours and late-night drinking. Honestly, that’s just not my thing. I don’t drink much, and I’d rather spend evenings recharging. But I’ve noticed that the people who show up to every bar outing seem to get looped into the best accounts and opportunities. I’m starting to worry that my boundaries are holding my career back. Should I just suck it up and go?

Been trying to find a new job because $112k just doesn't seem right for 3+ years as an Eng 3. On the east coast wanting to move out to California. Not getting many bites. Do employers ignore applications for people who would need to relocate?

When taking an exam for the cpa, is it done on a computer with a keyboard with a numpad and you do all your calculations on an onscreen calculator? Or is it done pencil and paper? Trying to decide on a new personal laptop and wondering if I should get one with a numpad to get used to punching in numbers or just a small one without it.
