Statistically, very few actually do.

It's easier to bill in certain practice groups, like the ones where you bill to "wait."

I did 2405 last year and it was terrible. Not worth it in the slightest.

I did 2300 last year and this year I’m on track for ~1800. I feel like a new person!!

You don’t make partner by billing you make partner by bringing revenue.

Hi everyone, when do you think we’ll move to summit??

Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? First time visiting this city so it’d be great to take in some sights too (although that’s not a priority of course).

Thoughts on recording meetings. In Texas and have ADHD. I’ve been recording internal meetings for the past couple of weeks and my work product has improved exponentially.
