Anyone else exhausted from the last few weeks?
Not a meme but…

When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

My entire HR department was outsourced in August 2025 as a cost-cutting and restructuring decision, too!
When talking with a recruiter, I explain what and why it happened and if any other department(s) or people were affected during the restructuring. I tell them that it has been challenging, but I think that my previous employer did the right thing to keep the company afloat.
I explain the reason behind the restructuring and RIFs. I was in the mortgage industry and the high interest rates over an unprecedented amount of time affected many mortgage companies, existing housing market relators, and homebuilders. If you were in an industry that was hit extremely hard, it wouldn't hurt to mention it.
I could be completely wrong, but I don't think that would be affecting your job search. I don't see any red flags based on your current situation; many unemployed highly qualified HR professionals are in your same situation.
Good luck,

Feel free to talk about that in your cover letter. I appreciate reading cover letters that explain the stories behind the resumes. With the current environment, you are NOT the only one affected by layoffs, it's a pretty common thing, so don't worry about adding it. I've even seen some resumes that literally list on each job why they left (layoff, better job, relocated, left to concentrate on family, etc.). I don't hate that, but don't think it's always necessary. Good luck!
I'm hoping you're fine something soon

Can you use your former manager as a reference or was the layoff in the news? Cover letter is ideal. Another option is post on your LinkedIn page - make a post that is positive thanking former company for all the good times and friends made - professionals, etc. etc. that you’re ready for the next chapter etc etc very brief mention of the restructure.
