Form a great relationship with your boss. Find a mentor, inside or outside of work. If you have 1-on-1's with your manager, make the most of them by sharing accomplishments and asking for help when you need it

Thanks. This is reassuring. I'm working on most of these things already. I've joined mentorship programs within my company. I just joined my team so im still getting to know my bosses. I work remote while a lot of my coworkers are in office so I will need to put some extra effort into forming relationships with them.

What is your best advice for moving into data science without going back to school for a masters?
I have an engineering bachelors and my mba, and want to move into the data science and analytics side of things in the long term.
I’m currently in Strategy Consulting and I find it too functional and hypothetical/theoretical/ high level. Looking for advice on resources, timelines, skillets, building connections/network, things to consider, moving forward /path of last resistance, etc etc

Hi all, I’d love to hear from PR/Comms folks about the process of transitioning from agency to an in-house role. What kind of chance does a PR pro with ~7 years of solid experience across CPG and hospitality brands, including a mix of global agency work and smaller boutique firms, have at going in house? Do you typically need more experience before going in house? Would be great to hear about various experiences from those that have made the transition. Thanks!

I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Questions on getting into PE:
- Would it be better to try to go MBB Associate to PE Analyst/Associate (not sure of the level), or go MBB to IB to PE?

- Does anyone have resources on making the transition (recruiting tips, modeling exercises, etc.)?

I’m in IT in a large corp and I don’t know what to do. I’m the systems engineer and I planned around what I thought was a straight forward concept. It appears what I thought would be possible was wrong. Everyone celebrated thinking I’d figured it out, including me. Were spinning up a full team to build it and I’ve exhausted all avenues to find an alternative solution. There isn’t. Horrified this is a career limiting situation….
