As a software engineer, you can imagine nobody cares what I wear.
You’re definitely not alone in wondering this! In most casual or hybrid workplaces, having a smaller, consistent wardrobe isn’t a disadvantage at all—it can actually be a smart move. Rotating a curated set of quality pieces, like your blouses and pants, shows intentionality and keeps things manageable.
Meanwhile, your coworkers’ styles reflect personal preference more than professional expectation. Unless there’s a strict dress code, workplace fashion tends to prioritise neatness and appropriateness over variety.
So, you’re not overthinking it. Focus on fit, condition, and confidence—that’s what really matters.

I don’t believe so, honestly wear what you have and want as long as it aligns with the office dress policy, my last job went from business attire to business casual and some offices jeans on Friday, there was enough flexibility to wear your business attire if preferred or dress casually whatever works for your role and comfort.
