In one financial year, I receive 15 paid leaves. While I’m grateful for them, I feel it’s not always enough to manage personal needs, health, and work-life balance. I believe adequate paid leave helps employees stay productive and motivated. How many paid leaves do you get in your organization, and do you feel it’s sufficient?

I’m sorry, do you mind clarifying something for me first. When you say paid leaves, do you mean 15 individual paid days off? Or are you saying 15 different extended paid leaves from work? Because 15 paid leaves in one year seems like a lot.

I dnt think so

I have 21 PTO days along with holidays. After working there for 5 years, it will go up to 25 PTO days

That’s amazing

15 days off is not enough for personal and vacation time. If by “paid leaves” you mean extended periods of time off, then it could be plenty. At my company, I get 22 vacation days, 10 sick days and I can carry over 5 vacation days a year

I very fortunate i can carry over all my leave in next year

I have 20 PTO days and paid holidays, then 5 sick days. That has been sufficient for me. I also look to see what the seniority level brings. I’m fine starting lower if there is a guaranteed bump over the year.

20 PTO and 5 sick days sufficient according to me

Hello everyone, I am graduating this May as a double major in business management and operations and supply supply chain management. I interned at a large 3PL last summer and it led to a full time offer as a operations supervisor. I am supposed to start this June but for some reason I'm not sure if I am on the right track. I would love some insight on a good potential career path and if I should look for other opportunities or see how the one I have plays out. Thanks!

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?
