I want to buy a Rolex explorer 1. Should I buy it used for around $9,500? Or someone try to wait for the AD which who knows when it’ll be. I’m a bit hesitant to buy a used Rolex. Is buying used from a reputable source risky?

I put a deposit down on a Rolex for my wife last November with my local dealer. Nice guy and no reason to doubt it as I underwent here were a lot of delays with Rolex. He initially said they’d expect it in 3-4 months and has since said they’re working to fulfill all orders by end of June. Is this ridiculous or sound about right?

My friend’s parent’s jewelry store has a Bluesy (ref 16613) in “like new” condition + box from 2008 for 10k. I had been contemplating buying a Rolex, but wasn’t super set on it. Is this a solid deal? Chrono24 seems to have couple years older ones for around 8-10k in very good/with papers, so not sure if I should keep shopping around

Has anyone seen Omega’s new Seamaster? Thoughts? I mean the only thing that’s stopped me from going 20,000 ft underwater is the right watch…unfortunately at 45.5mm in diameter and 56mm lug to lug, it’s too big for my small wrists. Oh well, guess I won’t be going underwater. Just kidding haha - I think it’s cool and I do like that they ditched the HEV
