Inside recruiter robo-emailed me. The email starts "Event Name: 25 Minute Call with XXXXX from Klick." Then instructions for setting up the meeting.

Set the meeting for 2 weeks from that date.

Night before the call is supposed to happen, I get a cancellation notice and an invite to reschedule.

Uhhhhh.... no thanks Klick.

No apology or explanation. No human interaction. No effort.

Senior to Manager-level Data Scientists, what is the minimum set of skills and experience you require someone to have in order to train them to be a Data Scientist?

I have a handful of people from BI and Marketing who want to learn how to be a "Data Scientist" where some of them have stronger SQL knowledge and ability than others, but some of them have more exposure to languages like Python and R, and a little bit of machine learning exposure.

Can a law firm in CA rescind an offer if background check reveals an omitted employment history? Worked at a firm for 2-3 months back in 2019 that wasn’t a good fit.
