My fiancé got approached for a Sales Executive Role at Instacart. Anyone have any insight into the company, job security, culture etc? They mentioned 100k base, 40-60% variable comp and an undisclosed equity grant. She’s already making 130k in a very secure job, so we are thinking no, but want to do our homework first.

SAP has a German culture. Meaning long term planning, well funded activities, job security and long term outlook. They’re taking good care of employees and typically will not people go for efficiency considerations. On the other hand, it’s relatively slow with predictable promotions and professional growth. Solution advisory are client facing - so, you will see a lot of clients and if will be willing - have plenty of opportunities to move over to the client’s organization. But most likely you will be paid well enough to stay for 10-15 years with sap (that is a typical average tenure)
