I have joined ACTI a month back in Kolkata in L9. I wanted to opt for Company Car Lease policy just to save TAX but finding it too complicated.
I had raised queries to payrole and they have replied with a suggestion to think twice before opting for this benifit.

The number of matrices and spreadsheets I have to create to track this would make even an accountant weak in the knees.
Clients don’t want to pay for ad-IDs because they’re “digital”. I end up with “My Ad” cut as a :30, :15, and :06...sized for vertical, square, and standard 16x9...with hero endcard and three different offers...slated and unslated...each with multiple file outputs to accommodate whatever media buy or DAM system it has to be uploaded to. None of which is easy to track because there’s no ISCI assigned! And I try and pile all the info onto the slate to be as prescriptive as possible. But alas, clients find slates annoying, as for unslated and then run the spot sized for some banner ad on their Hulu buy and wonder why it gets kicked back.
I used to allow for a half day to prep files for delivery and then a full day to ship spots but now that’s turning into 3-4 days and clients aren’t happy with it/won’t pay. I hate delivery day because I know it’s going to start at 9am and not be over until midnight.
Formats are sized at picture lock phase against the different spots. This has helped with all the deliverables that bottleneck at the end…
