I’ve found that idea silly, seen plenty of red dresses at weddings and think nothing of it. You can stand out in any color dress if it’s dramatic enough.
I think it depends on culture…some brides wear red. If the bride isn’t wearing red, I don’t see it as a problem. I’ve worn red to friends weddings and gotten many compliments.

Yeah depends on the culture - don’t wear red to an Indian wedding usually because the bride on many cases tends to wear red (of course there are sub cultures where they also wear yellow, white etc)
Agree on culture. Perfectly acceptable for your standard wedding if not Indian or potentially Asian.
I think it really depends on the wedding and on the dress. I’ve seen so many ladies wear red to weddings but also heard ppl on here say absolutely not 🤷🏻♀️
