If you can go a few times a week and serious about health, yes. It’s amazing. Pool is great in the summer and club helps pass the long grey winter. I asked about Deloitte corporate membership and they waved the deposit, may do the same for PwC.
Unfortunately, I moved to Bucktown and always on the road so put my membership on hold. If you live close by it’s well worth it, especially at your age.
Large pool on the roof and if you’re 25 it’s a great age to be up there.
I joined, and after going <1 month for a year, I dropped it. Club looks outdated, and is basically a daycare center on the weekends.
You work at strategy&, can afford
I joined University Club because I wanted a slightly different experience, but EBC seemed great if you mainly want an amazing gym experience
Can’t argue that it’s an older age group, but I don’t think it’s that drastic. I can go watch Sunday football and everyone will be 35 or less. I’m 24 and joined mainly for networking and a place to go to after work whenever I’m in town. Have a gym in my building and do workout classes so didn’t really base it off of athletics. I think it’s a solid place to grab a drink or dinner instead of your average bar
I joined not too long ago and love it. With that said, I go about 3 days/week on average, live and work close by, and don’t travel much. The accessibility of tennis / yoga / outdoor pool make it worth it to me. It’s great over the winter, I can spend 2 hours there on a Sunday and feel great without going outside. The upstairs restaurant is actually fairly affordable (especially if you’re able to expense the dinner). And as someone else mentioned, as a <25 yo at S& you can probably afford it
Too much of a scene
It is $205/month
I’m under 25
Any thoughts on Midtown Club anyone? Seems comparable.
@D1 - could you explain differences? Pros & cons?
