You can index match with as many criteria as you want by making it an array formula
Concatenate the desired cells to make a unique key, then index match based off that key.
I use sumproduct; I forget which use case I had where concatenate didn't work, maybe it was an or need, but sumproduct is best practice regardless.
How would that look? Let’s say the index data is A1:Z100, would it be index(A1:Z100),Match Criteria 1, Match Criteria 2, Match Criteria 3?
You can add additional criteria with an asterisk, so (criteria 1)*(criteria 2)*(criteria 3) and make sure to ctrl+shft+enter to use an array
Obvs index match match. Depending on how dynamic you need it to be, you could just filter a pivot table
Pretty sure you can index match with multiple criteria
Can’t index match more than 2 criteria. Also, can only have 1 criteria for column and 1 for row
Use of arrays like “AND” can be a help if concatenation is not a preference.
Alteryx makes multi joins really easy, not that it’s an excel fix
