It blows my mind how often I hear we’re like a family here while watching leadership throw people under the bus at the first sign of trouble. I’ve seen long-term employees laid off with zero notice, and managers dodge accountability by blaming junior staff. Families don’t fire you over Zoom with a generic script. Has “we’re a family” ever meant anything good at your workplace or is it always a red flag?
