She has a Facebook group. Her name is Victoria Purser. You have to request access to the Facebook group and then you can get the boot camp info. Strong caution here, it’s definitely not the only prep you should do and expect to pass. It’s designed to be a source after you’ve already prepared and want a good review. I’m an instructor with HR.com and we offer a prep class that is 16 weeks of live programming. Feel free to check it out and msg me at mbowen@hr.com with any questions.

Thank you will message you

I came across it in FB group as well. I think her company name is Conquer HR

New fish looking for career guidance.

I'm a corporate recruiter with 3 years of experience. Finishing my degree in HRM 5/2022. I'm thinking of getting my SHRM -CP shortly after graduation.

I'm not sure of where to go after that, but I doubt I will stick with recruiting or my current firm.

Has anyone here started off in recruiting and branched out to other HR functions? Do you like your new role? Do you wish you stuck with recruiting?

Hi Everyone, I have been an HR Generalist for close to 7 years. I had good managers and poor managers in between. My VP once told me not to pursue my MBA because she would teach me everything she knew. She never did. I am currently going for my SHRM SCP. I really enjoy being a Generalist but I don’t know if I want to be an HR Manager. Any suggestions on other areas of HR I should consider?

Hello I am curious to know what people think of getting a masters degree in Data Science. I am looking at a program that is 32k which compared to others is not as expensive. I have experience with python and I work on my own projects but no professional experience. I am finding it extremely hard to break into an entry level data analyst role. I am hoping that a master degree would help with that process.

I have both my PHR and SHRM-CP and working on my Cebs certification. Current salary is $80k.

Hello folks!

I've cleared all rounds of interviews in a good company (atleast acc to me) and since they accepted my 3 months NP so I don't want to let it go.
The problem is its been around 2 weeks and I still haven't received offer letter after final discussion. Till now I was following up with HR, he is a good person (what I felt).
I'm getting a little restless and want to follow up with the manager(who took my interview) to fasten the process without appearing desperate.
Any suggestions?🙏

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

I have an interview tomorrow for an HRBP role and although I've been in HR (Strategic & Ops) and L&D for over 6 years, for the purpose of the interview and to align my experience to that of HRBP, I'd like to speak with anyone currently in this role who can guide me through on their function, day to day and common challenges and wins.

Tomorrow (10th May) is the only day I have to prep, so any support is appreciated. Drop me a DM or comment below. Thanks so so so much IA.

Even though my title is HR Assistant, I handle all of the training for our HRIS (Kronos workforce ready). I’m responsible for maintaining data feeds and implementing workflows and other ways our employees can use it. I make less than $50,000 and I only have a HR manager above me. I’ve asked during my last performance review that I would like a title change because I do so much more than an assistant does. Do I leave the company? How do I jump with only 2 years of experience?
