3 years in this apartment without any pests or bugs..2 months before I move out I wake up to a mouse freaking out in one of my bags. So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!

Teaching Autistic Support via Zoom is so difficult. The behaviors are way worse and there is next to nothing I can do to help my students parents.

Studying for FAR and it gives me so much anxiety. There’s just so much information. I’m taking notes and reading. I don’t plan on listening to the lectures but I feel like I’m moving so slow. Advice?

Question - my 18month clock stops Oct end. I have one exam left. If I test this month end for my last exam, but the results come in Nov (and hopefully I pass) will that still expire the credit for my first exam? Or I should be good?

Has anyone submitted a CPA credit extension request to the IL board before? How long did it take them to make a decision?

I took FAR in Aug and AUD last week. Didn’t pass FAR and feeling like I may have passed AUD. My original NTS for them runs out on dec 18. If I get a new NTS for one of them to take before busy season do I have to wait to take it until after my original NTS runs out?

I’m so happy to say that after about 5 years of being here, I’m finally done with the exam!!! In a world full of internet trolls, it was so refreshing to be on this thread while we all cheered for each other and pushed each other to climb over our failures and discouragements. Taking BEC in 3 weeks. What are some heavily tested areas to focus on? How serious should cost be taken? The Becker questions for cost are time consuming.

California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.

Scheduled to retake AUD in 4 weeks and take REG 4 weeks after. Ready to finish this beast!

Hi all! In which order do you recommend studying BEC chapters ? Which ones are heavily tested compared to others ? (For example in AUD A3-A4 were tested for sims and I’ve studied A1-A5-A6)

Endless anxiety and refreshing the candidate portal waiting on score release for my last test.

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

Planning on retaking reg in three weeks. Got 62 and weaker on all the main section in Q4 2017. I didn’t do well on the time management and sims. Any suggestions? Is it enough time? Need motivation.

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.
