This is a good strategy for my breakthru depression. Most of the time it’s really well managed, but occasionally I’ll experience bleed thru depression. I “allow” myself to wallow for the evening. I get thru work ok, but ruminate when I get home.
I put myself to bed early and say when I wake up, it’ll be a new day. Seems to work, so I don’t question why.
